Interesting first half between West Ham and Man City.

West Hams new striker looks tasty (Haller). Strong and will score goals I reckon, which is a blow. They look typically garbage at the back though.

Man City doing what they do. Passing to death and fouling the instant the opposition look like they'll break on them. As always, the ref is letting them get away with it. Their new 'fouler in chief' Rodri looks likely to smash every fouling record going. When we had an edge in our title winning season (Huth and Morgan man-handling), it was instantly stopped at the start of the following season. Man City appear completely immune to any retribution for their constant cheating.

Mahrez is Man City's best player. Oozing class.

Clear and obvious doesn't apply to offside decisions. They are either offside or onside and the tech works it out and tells the ref. There is no interpretation.

It's either offside or it isn't. Nothing to do with "clear and obvious".

But if it's not obviously offside from a replay without having to draw lines on the pitch I'd give the goal, and save all the pissing about.
