The foolproof guide to playing Man City.

1. Play three forward players against them that don't drop too deep
2. Make sure at least a couple of them are quick and play wide
3. When you get possession move the ball forward quickly
4. Be aware that they will always try to foul you before getting the break away
5. Defend deep, but not too deep
6. Put challenges in, don't stand off them
7. Collect three points

It does seem as easy as making the ball bypass their fouling area of the pitch

The commentators on this game are a bunch of elitist wankers.

Constant talking about the title race and it being over.

Not one single ****ing mention of the team that are actually 2nd.

Short memories on some of these ****s

Man City were the only team that could mathamatically catch LiVARpool this season.

Defeats for Man C & Chelsea...it's all falling into place isn't it? As long as we win at the Villa.

We'll need to be 20% better than we have been the last 2 games.

Man City fans with some class there. Perhaps ex Chelsea fans with the monkey chants/gestures?

At this rate we'll have our Champions League spot tied up by Xmas!

Spoilt Man City fans acting like true dimwitted knuckle draggers the minute their side looks bang average

Just seen the Son goal from yesterday. Despite it being a Spurs goal, absolutely love it.

Go on then, I’ll say it - As well as Son did, the defending was shocking.

Yep. I like Son as a player and it was a terrific goal.

But, really.

It reminded me a bit of the Maradona goal in 86 where he ran through the England defence. An extraordinary goal until you watch absolute donkey's like Fenwick and Reid puffing through their arses incapable of catching him, let alone putting a tackle in.

After watching their defending in that game, I reckon Burnley could go down this year.

I don’t disagree, it’s unbelievable that no one stopped him. But he still had the composure to keep going, and make the finish. Quality.
