Not to ruin the surprise but LCFC had the 15th highest wage bill in the year ending May 2016 (when we won it...) and the 8th highest turnover.

It will be interesting to see the finances next time to see if the wage bill really did go much higher compared to other clubs and if our 12th place finish was above or below what we should have achieved given our spending. I think the wage bill/place finish ratio is the best indicator of how well the team did.
