At Gillingham this season, he was incredible. Good purchase for Covscum to be honest.

Yes Micky has confirmed my long held estimation of his ability as a manager.

He truly has the knack of coming up with short term solutions that are likely to have long term damaging consequences for the club he is managing. I almost feel sorry for Covscum.

I really did feel Micky had the potential to be a great manager, and if he made the right choices he still could be, but sadly his stupid tactics(that could have been sorted so easily if he wasn't so pig headed, and stopped about himself in the 3rd person), his knack also like you say to buy short term options instead of thinking of the future, these factors really do hold him back.

I believe I am right in saying that MA's contract stipulated that he would take a drop in wages should we be relegated? I'm not sure this works for managers.

I'm not saying MA was money driven but surely the short term benefits to him financially were greater than the benefits of building a side for LCFC. Just a thought  He nearly pulled it off.

"Well, Micky Adams would appreciate if you kept your opinion to yourself, the way Micky Adams likes football to be played is up to Micky Adams."

:P

He will be better than a certain Junior Lewis..........NO,he will be honestly.

Yes - it reached the point where you could more or less work out the 'has been' players who he would be daft enough to bring in - sometimes it was a case of 'surely he won't' - but he did and he does.

Didn't Micky realise how awful, overweight and wage consuming fatboy Pressman was at City? Have to agree with earlier comments that Micky really does not seen to look towards the future...or maybe he does I hear Coventry's pukka pies sold twice as many on Pressman's arrival yesterday, a micky masterstroke?

I don't agree with that, i thought at times he was actually superb.

He is/was very good as a shoot stopper. That is not enough in our side with some of the defensive errors we have made. :-( :? :?

IMO Pressman seemed to induce panic in our penalty area and for someone of his "stature" he never commanded the box. Again it does surprise me to see Micky re signing him, however this further demonstrates the concerns people had about him. You would have thought this seasons experiences would have led to Micky learning a few lessons but obviously not, still pig headed in the extreme, but he will be working very hard on the training ground with pieman to put things right.
