I'm going to Oz at the end of the year for a few weeks and I was thinking of getting a PSP to keep me entertained for part of the flight.

Has anyone got one?

Are they any good?

What games should I get?

Do I need any accessories?

I think its good except its battery life.

I do find games like Pro Evo difficult to play because of how small the screen is but I find Grand Theft Auto Liberty City stories good, Burnout Revenge and Footie Manager Handheld also.

I had one for 2 weeks and sold it.
The controls are rubbsish and the games ain't great. Although Football Manager is on there now which wasn't the case when I had one otherwise I might have kept it a bit longer.

The PSP is an excellent tool but its appeal is limited outside of plane / train journeys. You wont use it at home. Sold mine after Id been to the states (reason I bought it)

I have a Nintendo DS which could make for a worthwhile alternative. I think with any handheld you won't use it alot around the house.. The DS does have some really good old school style games and nifty features (such as wireless internet). Apparently it will be able to link up with the upcoming wii console on some games aswell.

Mk enjoys nothing more than a good session with his friend Melvin's Handheld.
