newspapers: i like The Times although it's Rupert Murdoch and I like the Independent although it does go on about global warming and i quite like The Sun for a laugh

on sunday, Sunday Times and/or The Observer

magazines:

definitely purchase:
Private Eye
Viz
New Scientist

sometimes:
The Economist
When Saturday Comes

I read Farmyard Anal in Smiths and then put it back on the shelf

The Mockery - occassionally, especially when picked up for free.
Local weekly paper - to see who's died / which cat went up tree.

If I buy a newspaper it would be the Indie/Grauniad/Times, often depending what's on the front page.

I get the Sun on weekdays, just for light entertainment/easy reading on my lunch break (did anyone see page 3 today? very nice!).

Read the times when i go to the gym, don't buy it though.

Occasionally buy FHM.

Buy FourFourTwo every month, and The Economist every week.

Newspapers aren't informative, and most magazines are full of adverts and pieces of shit that drop out all over my feet. Anything I might possibly ever want in a magazine or newspaper can be found online, ie, **** all.

Wouldn't waste my money on any of the aforementioned claptrap.

I only read my trade paper because I need to keep up with competitor activity.
