Whatever the outcome, it's important that as supporters of the club we get behind the owners and their decision.
Whether we like the decision or not.

If Claude stays (I'll be surprised if he does), we can't go into next season with some just waiting to "let rip".

What an excellent post.

Since coming the owners have done an excellent job - in one season an unbelievable job. We had become an established Championship side and now we are an established Premier League side.
I do not believe Claude is the man for the job. However, if the Thais back him then I support their judgement remembering how wrong I was about Martin O'Neill and Peter Taylor

Well, I for one am NOT going to spend the Summer in a doom laden fog bemoaning our inevitable relegation. Everything is set to zero & the new season beckons after the World C(orr)up(tion) is out of the way. **** negativity & hand wringing over how woefully shit it's all going to be. If I want to engage in that kind of shite I'll go down to the cricket.

St Etienne so badly don’t want Claude the Fraud in charge that they’ve scrapped the planned takeover.

That's one way of reading it. Another interpretation, and how I read it, is that they didn't want to replace the current manager. It's similar to the Pearson/Sousa situation, except our club dropped its pants at the first sight of the takeover, rather than remaining loyal to its manager at the time.

Depends how you wish to translate it I suppose?

Which was, ultimately, a very good decision as it allowed the buyout.

Big thank you to the 600 season ticket holders who didn't renew and allowed me and my son to become season ticket holders again via the members ballot, some of whom no doubt because of Monsieur Puel.

I thank you all!

No such luck for me though. Need to keep him for another season
