Passed away this week. One of the great benefactors for LCFC and all things Leicester (as well as Newcastle Utd). He quietly and consistently gave and lent money to the club over a very long period of time.

Often wondered what would have happened if he'd been able to wrestle control of the club back in the day. He was prepared to pump in loads of dosh if we sorted out our organisation along professional lines. We said no and he gave all his money to Newcastle and Kevin Keegan.

All that - and it's slightly embarrassing that the official site sloppily refers in the tribute to his involvement with and I quote "Leicestershire Country Cricket Club".

Typical of LCFC - they get nothing quite right.

never heard of the guy but RIP. Sounds like history could be repeating....

R I P Trevor, shame that you were here to witness the feckless attempts of LCFC to try and sell itself in your final days. If only you had been given the chance earlier...

He still had them when the takeover process started, I can't imagine anything has changed since then. If his death was unexpected it could be a while before anyone gets hold of the shares and is able to vote - if they're interested in voting.

Bloody hell. This takeover has gone from bad to worse to f'in ridiculous. :icon_conf

I would have thought his executor/executors would be able to exercise the vote on the shares if need be as they have to act in the best interests of the estate.
