Played alongside Brian little if I'm not mistaken.I'd imagine he's here to take care of the Admin side?

This is exactly the kind of appointment we needed... no big name.. just a good honest manager/coach.

Totally agree, excellent appointment.

and cheap.

Precisely - and no threat to RK etc etc.

Forgive my cynicism but in the rightfully mellow mood we are all in at the moment....anyone capable of walking onto the training ground would be hailed as a shrewd move!

That rules out Lee Morris, then;)

Out of interest his managerial record was:

Team Bristol R Walsall
From 25-04-2002 05-05-1998
To 16-01-2004 22-01-2002
Games 81 199
Won 22 79
Drawn 22 49
Lost 37 71

I've decided not to be cruel anymore about him. At the end of the day it was poor Micky who chose to sign a player with an established record for injury problems , not the player himself. Good luck to him.

I hope I wasn't being cruel, he must be seriously p@ssed off. To be fair to Adams, the price we paid for him reflected his injury problems. It's a real shame, because the snippets I have seen of him, he looks a more than useful player. I do have my doubts as to whether he will ever get fit enough to play regularly.

RK's decision... and IMO a good appointment, experienced and well respected and probably no threat to the current mamagement. Im old enough to remember him play, he was quick and direct, a proper old fashion winger!
Welcome Ray
