Yes I am as bitterly disappointed as the rest of you at our current plight but I think we all need to take a step back and look at our situation.
We have just sold Chris O'Grady to a club who were recently hours from being wound up! I remember contributing to the 'save Rotherham football club' cash bucket collection myself at game at the Walkers. To add to that we are not in any position to re-invest the monies received. This in itself shows where our club are currently at.
This is NOT Rob Kelly's fault. I believe we are the only club (outside of Colchester United) who have not been in a position to bring any players in during January.
How can you win a game of cards when you are dealt with a shit hand and yet you are the only player who is not allowed to swap their hand? Rob Kelly is in this very position.
I also do not believe that this board is to blame. People seem to forget that these are the very people who ensured that we supporters had a Leicester team to watch come Saturday afternoon. They are also not to blame for the takeover delay. The board member who was against it has resigned so that the remainder can act unanimously in trying to bring Manderic to the club. The hold up is for legal reasons (not the club).
The finger should be pointed at people who are no longer at the club. The current employees are doing their best trying to stabilise a rudderless ship.
Just to re-iterate I think we all need to take a reality check on where we are and just hope that the future is brighter.
