If the fans don’t give a shit whether or not we get relegated, then not sure why the players are expected to either

Just sayin’……
Pride? Oh yeah, this lot don't really have any, feck.

Money then? Ability to purchase awful Monster Munch in greater quantities than the rest of us?

We've known now that relegation is a real danger for a while, especially over the last 6 matches.

What does the next 6 matches look like?

Palace (A)
Villa (H)
Bournemouth (H)
Man City (A)
Wolves (H)
Leeds (A)

This is our make or break line-up. After this, I fear it'll be too late. Worth noting we have Everton at home after Leeds, so that's also another relegation scrap, though the league is so tight so who knows by then.

We tend to move in waves, ignoring the Villa and Spurs wins as they seem anomalies, we've had a negative wave, positive wave, negative with an anomaly so we're due a positive.

We'll need at least 10 points from those 6 matches, ideally more.

One positive is that we've drawn, and have three winnable matches coming up. The mood is sour, but we have some quality players and an international break for us to use efficiently.

Cannot wait for Kristiansen to come back. Break, review and then give every ****ing huff and puff. If not for the club, then for your reputation - please Brendan Rodgers, work to avoid relegation at all costs.

Okay, we grabbed and away point today - but having seen the desire and fight from Leeds, Everton and S'hampton - we are in more trouble than I thought.

The three worst sides in the league are Southampton, Bournemouth and Notts.

If there is any justice those three will go.

However, too many theoretically superior sides are bottling it. We lost four out of five against the three worst sides so we're exactly where we deserve to be.

This spring break thing we've got now would be a good opportunity to bring a new manager in. Won't happen but if we had any sense we'd take it.

Seeing as we're in a relegation fight and entering the last part of the season.

My prediction: Southampton, Bournemouth and West Ham.

I get what you mean.

That and the fact that we’ve seen Leicester City win the PL and FA Cup, means I'm just not that bothered any more.

I do get the apathy and I feel that a lot too - I feel like I've lost a lot of enthusiasm for football overall, which is weird considering it's been by far my biggest interest throughout my life up until very recently.

I still spend a lot of time on football or football related things - but don't really care anywhere near as much about the actual game.

But having said that I'd be gutted to see us go down!

Another two points lost today. It doesn’t matter who the opposition are, we need wins.

My main concern is not one of other clubs fixtures, it's that we seem incapable of winning any match at the moment. We may well not finish bottom but we will find ourselves in the bottom 3.

To me the bottom clubs have a worse run in than us
Of the last 10 games, how many games clubs won't get any points from

Southampton 5
Bournemouth 5
West Ham 5
Everton 6
Forest 6
Leeds 5
Wolves 5
Palace 3
Leicester 2

3 from these 4 to be relegated - Forest, Everton, Bournemouth, Southampton

That’s extremely optimistic. Presumably, before yesterday you would have put Everton’s game at Chelsea in that category? And a few weeks back you wouldn’t have put our game at Southampton?

That's a pretty good weekend for us.

Of the 9 sides 'in and around' the relegation positions, 4 lose (Palace, Bournemouth, Wolves and Forest), 3 draw (us, Everton and Southampton) and only one won (Leeds).

We play West Ham last day?

We have 2 sets of 3 games coming up that are critical. If we can get 10 points from those two runs (next three, then skip Man City, then the next three) then we might be OK.
I think we are right in the mix and anyone at this stage who does not believe we are threatened with relegation is fooling themselves.
