It seems a pity that Dawson hasn't made the first team but I'm sure he will get his chance in the game. Dublin and Stearman should be playing at the back together, whilst Benjamin and Wright will make up the front two.

Levein will be there to watch...so here is a chance for some youngsters to impress...or not! The ball is in their court now!

Will be a good test for a lot of these players, would have liked to see Dawson and Williams together in centre midfield, but I think Levein is having a look at Gemmill so he can make up his mind whether to retain him or not.

hang on are you the same people who were calling for his head the other week. saying get rid when his contract runs out. hes a good player and can score goals, he seems to be scoring more than any other of our strikers. reserves or not

The only reason why Dion is on the bench instead of Trev is because Dion can provide a defensive back-up should it be needed. I agree though, I'd sooner see Trev on the bench. Trev has cult status which is always worth a goal or two.

I went along last night. Can somebody please tell me why they rate Tommy Wright. Every time I have seen him play he has looked distinctly average, but last night he was truly shocking. He seemed slow, disinterested and generally lazy.

On the other hand - Richard Stearman...what a prospect. He looks so thin he could snap, but he did very, very well. Dion and him looked very assured at the back and stopped almost everything getting through, which is no easy task with the Arsenal youngsters - all of them are so quick. Quincy Owusu Abeyie is awesome and going to be a star of the future without any doubt. We only conceeded because of a Sheehan error. Was impressed with Gemmill as well. He was very motivated and seemed keen to gee up the rest of the players whenever he could. Mind you he is playing for a new contract.
