Reserves Face Baggies
Posted on: Mon 01 Oct 2007

Leicester City's reserve side are in action against West Bromwich Albion in the Pontin's League Cup at Hinckley United on Monday evening (7pm).

The Foxes second string gained a 3-0 victory over the Baggies in the Pontin's Central Reserve League last week - with Ricky Sappleton and Ryan Beswick grabbing the goals on that occasion.

And the duo have again been included in what is a youthful line up to face the Albion.

Admission on the night is just £3 for adults and £1 for under 16s. Junior Foxes go free!

Highlights of the game will be available on Leicester City World from 10:30am tomorrow (Tuesday).

City: Carl Pentney, Hossein Kaebi, Lathanial Rowe-Turner, Levi Porter, Joe Magunda, Scott Garner, Ashley Chambers, Ryan Beswick, Ricky Sappleton, Billy Mckay, Adda Djeziri.
Subs: Jonathan Hayes, Billy Kee, Fraser Tuttle, Luke O'Neil, Steven Howard.

This squad won't please the Kaebi lovers amongst us who want him to play tomorrow night...

This from davieG on FT. :icon_sad:

Lost 6-1,

Kaebi went off injured, adda red carded for throwing a punch, the only bit of action from him all night, although why there guy only got yellow.

Virtually an Academy team, boys against men stuff with WBA playing proper football the likes of which even our first team seem incapable of.

I can't really say i was impressed with anyone to be honest for 80 minutes Sappleton was as bad as he was good last week although he finished stronly and could have had 2 goals rather than just the one; but WBA had given up by then.

Nice to see the young ones coming through. Wenger will be jealous of our academy:icon_roll

I just think that virtually everything on the playing side of the club is now very sad.

You don't sent boys out against men. This does nothing to build individuals and develop confidence.
