Lots of speculation today that Robbie Fowlers days are numbered at Man. City with his contract due to expire at the end of the season. Rumour is that he's going out on loan in January.

Its no secret that Craig has been looking at strikers to solve our long standing scoring problem.

Fowlers record as a goalscorer over the years is unquestionable. Though he may like pace and hunger these days we have Hammond and Hume who can make up for that. His experience of when to make runs without getting caught offside, positional sense and, more importantly, sticking the ball in the back of the net could be beneficial to the team in the short term and help the long term development of our young strikers.

Now theres a thought.....

Just some random lyrics

Ticket to ride a white-line highway,
Tell all your friends they can go my way
Pay your toll, sell your soul,
Pound for pound it costs more than gold
The longer you stay, the more you pay,
My white lines go a long way
Either up your nose or to your vein -
With nothing to gain except killing your brain.

Can't see him coming here. Think he'd probably want to stay in Premiership with club like Sunderland.
