Having followed the City since Adam was a lad us Leicester fans fans have always been the supreme optimists - when we go down you know its just going to be a matter of time before we bounce straight back up - the saying that "Foxes never quit" has in the passed proved to be a true adage of our team and players - who will ever forget coming back from defeat in the thrilling 3-3 draw with the Arse or the last minute equaliser against Middlesboro the LC final - the list is endless - we accept as City fans that we are never going to be a Man utd or Arsenal but by the same token we will not put up with lack of FIGHT - This is the main factor in which our present manager doesn't seem to able to instill into the present crop of players - I have to admit that when CL was appointed I was very pleased - However every time that he gives an interview I feel like wanting to get hold of him and give him a bloody good shake to wake him up - Every week we get the same old story - I have had enough of the excuses - theres lots of other teams in our division who have got limited cash to spend on players, in debt etc, etc, etc, but if we can't beat teams like Crewe, Millwall, Sheff Wed its time for a change - We are the 3rd worst team in the division - just look at the table - The vultures are circling as the weeks go by and just sinking down and down - I will go to meet my maker happy in the fact that we have never ever been out of the top 2 leagues, its looking like I better peg out before August

Very Good Post!

What about the fight back from 2 nil down just LAST WEEK!

This is whats annoying, WE CAN DO IT! BUT CL doesn't know how to motivate players, and thats whats happening! The players don't need motivating against teams like Spurs, but against teams like Sheff Wed they CLEARLY do!

Thing is when he's signed his players CL has nearly always said they're really good and proberly premiership standard at somepoint. Bang thats it, there "Premiership" players - all they have to do is walk onto the pitch and we've won - Thats when CL needs to go into "Mental" mode- these players are not premiership players YET, so bring them down to earth, bring them into this game and make them realise that at this rate they're soon to be plying their trade in Div 1:mad::mad:

I agree, with the above posts, I would not argue that the quality of the squad is very good and certainly talent wise should be up there in the top half, interestingly when CL came in he stated he wanted to build a side of young, hungry and ambitious players.

After witnessing over 20 matches this season, I can only sit in disbelief at the way our season has taken shape, the squad is without doubt good enough, but the attitude, desire and commitment are IMO sadly lacking. We look a soft touch, a nice team to play against.

Last week, we showed what we are capable of we got amongst Tottenham, we were in there faces and we played the game at a high tempo all over the pitch, very similar to the performance against Sheff Utd, coincidently the only other game we have won since November, but why can we not replicate that kind of performance week in week out, I am not suggesting we would win every week or that we would not still produce poor performances, but win, lose or draw either of the above fixtures and the majority of the supporters would have left knowing the team had given everything, that is all I ask for.

Yesterday was a massive game, bigger and far more important than last week's match vs Spurs, all the hard work of last week has been destroyed by yet another shocking performance in the bread and butter of the league. We should have played with the same passion, commitment and energy that we showed against Spurs, instead we entered into the game like we were a premiership side, and the truth was Sheff Wed were up for the battle and they bullied us out of the game, we didnt have the stomach for a battle yesterday and I dont believe we have the stomach for a relegation battle, and in that I include the Board, Management and players. There is no benefit except financial reward from last weeks progression in the cup, a game I would have happily sacrificed for a result yesterday, but all it has done is yet again paper over the even wider cracks that are now appearing.
