Anyone used it? Pro's con's etc? I'm coming from a professional level PHP and .net c# background so not expecting it to be too hard, just curious as to it's quirks.

Cheers, I'll have a look through. I've got an interview tomorrow and they use it a lot, so I've been having a read around. It seems very easy to use if a little alien compared to .net and PHP

If you're able for PHP & C# I doubt you'll have any bother with RoR once you get your head around its syntax.

That's what I'm hoping. There is no RoR test tommorrow, just basic SQL and Pseudo code so a walk in the park really :icon_bigg

Didn't get tested on RoR in the end, just a shite load of SQL and Pseudo code as expected. Should find out in the next few days whether I will get a second interview.

Also had to do a use case scenario in plain english, with a pen! Don't they realise developers lose their pen writing muscles the moment they pick up a keyboard!

I have no problem sketching schematics or drd's but one of the questions required I wrote an essay answer to prove I could write a use case scenario that a client could understand!

Yeah, a USB pen :icon_bigg

I lost mine the other day, luckily it was backed up and had nothing personal on it. This is the problem with them getting smaller and smaller
