Im sure there was a thread for this but couldnt see it so just started a new one.

If I rememeber correctly everyone seemed to slag this off which I thought was a bit harsh as it was the first episode and with character based sketch shows it normally takes 3 or 4 episodes to know the characters.

Watched the 2nd episode on Friday and I thought it was half decent (still not comedy genius) but i did laugh at some of the jokes and IMO it is not different to the Catherine Tate show (except it doesnt seem to rely on catchphrases).

I thought the footy sketch was funny and I also thought the U2 'who in the name of love' line was clever.

Roman's Empire last night on BBC 2.

An attempt at quirky, zany comedy which was load of old horseshit.

u ain't wrong...it has a good cast as well, shame about the scripts. I think rush hour is funnier and that's saying something (besides the adam buxton sketches, they make that programme)
