If we beat Cardiff on Tuesday are we safe from relegation?

Do you expect a serious answer to that?

We won't be matchematically safe if we win, but I'm sure it would be enough.
A draw would probably be enough, unless some of the teams below us start picking up unlikely wins. Even a defeat against Cardiff and we might have enough points already. But if we do lose I'll start to worry.

IMO 2pts should be enough.With Brighton playing at home to Ipswich and W ham its difficult to see them getting 6 pts from their last 3 games to overtake us. If we can't get 2pts we deserve to go down.
