First he cries like a baby when the red card is given, then he threatens to quit international football and now he's talking about Legal action. I'm really pretty glad he doesn't play for us anymore

Relax, he is thinking about taking legal action, so what. If you think you have been given a dodgy red card prior to the biggest game in your career and have no other avenue why not consider it.

I'd have him back tomorrow over Williams and Nalis, don't get me wrong the jury is out on Williams for a good few months yet but Sav is a premiership player who gives everything for his team every time he turns out. Couldn't say that about the majority of our squad.

Don't see the fuss, it seems entirely reasonable for a footballer to seek legal advice if he thinks he has been dealt with unfairly and he has no other course of action.

His brief is the one spouting Human rights contravention or taking it to the high court IF and only if FIFA refuse to review the footage. Think Savage is acting sensibly for once.

"Everyone has the right to work etc...." and to unjustly deny him the right to work for however short a period would appear to be unacceptable. Anyone would have reacted to that kind of assault (it could easily have caused him actual bodily harm) and the subsequent outcome was ridiculous.
