A couple of half decent signings could bridge that gap. 2000 odd season tickets must be worth around half a million to the club and could take the sting out of a couple of transfers.

Would a relatively low season ticket sales level mean that the club would lower the prices for more games this season to try to fill the ground as far as possible for the less glamourous games and even for some of the bigger teams to?

City have just given a season ticket to the 15000th buyer.

Wouldn't it have been nice to have had the chance of having your season ticket paid for?

I would imagine the person who bought the first season ticket may have liked the prize as well.

Rather than give a free season ticket to the buyer of the actual 15,000th one sold, they may have considered choosing a seat number at random so everyone would have had a chance..
