Which suggests it isn't the players but the motivator...i.e. Warnock! With proper management they could piss this league!

IMO if you are paid to do a job which is running about putting your heart into a game of football you shouldnt need motivating, but thats the way footballers are. you can only do so much to make people do their job properly, certain occasions such as cameras or games against arsenal make teams that are non-league look decent

I see what you are saying but I also don't see anyone struggling to keep up with the pace of the game. They are playing with hearts on sleves...its a great game.

With us a lot of our players can't cope with the pace of the game. This game just highlights to me how much we need fresh young blood at the club!

No I agree, I said it above...hate Warnock, I just felt the players really deserved it. They played with so much pride and passion! Its a shame about Kenny in the peno shootout...he was brilliant all game but it looked like he was expecting someone to go to the right. Never happened and Arsenal sussed him after the first two were taken.

They can't try like they did against Arsenal every game, they put all the energy into that match, closed down from box to box for 90minutes, no team can do that 40 odd times a season.

They gave the kind of performance against Arse that we gave against Charlton - it doesn't carry through as was shown on Saturday!

Those who were there would agree we did all the things you listed above and more, just they don't wanna do it everyweek - for whatever reason

This was because his right hip was injured and he didn't feel like throwing himself on it. I was expecting Colin to put the reserve goalie on for the last 90 secs of extra time so he had a keeper that could dive both ways.( bit like Spider Kalac in the play off finals against Palace)
