The cricket season starts today, but there is nothing on here from the so-called "leader" of this forum

Sack him, I say

Unfair homer,he's spent all night polishing his middle stump in anticipation of the new season.
Is it really the start of the Cricket Season? how exciting.. :smt015

Durham 305-2 v Leics

Thought the forum title referred to our bowling performance today. Attack with a lack of cutting edge led by veterans Daffy and Gibson - if we have a batting collapse tomorrow then not much will have changed since last year.

And Hussey will probably get a triple century as he does once a year. And not even close to the Ashes squad.

The only game Highland plays is "hide the sausage" with his sailor boy friends

Hussey and Plunkett punish Foxes
Frizzell County Championship D2, Grace Road
Durham 523-8 v Leicestershire 123 all out & 10-0 (f-o) (day two, stumps)

Liam Plunkett carried on the good work of Mike Hussey as Durham assumed complete control on day two against Leicestershire at Grace Road.

New skipper Hussey turned his century into a whopping 253, hitting 33 fours and three sixes off 426 balls, before declaring the innings on 523-8.

The demoralised hosts were then skittled for 123 in 39 overs, with Plunkett returning 5-43.

Following on, Leicestershire were 10-0 at stumps and 390 runs in arrears.

Feckin hell! That's awful! I mean, it's bad enough, but it's Durham!

Bottom of the league after two days. It's a long way from super Jack's title winning side of not so many years ago... :-( :-x :-x

it's famine or feast being a leicester boy....
