SF recommended that someone should do a poll to survey whether Dickov should be in the team or not, and surprise, surprise, I have taken this on!

I personally believe that Dickov should keep his place. IMO he has been excellent this season for us as explained in the other thread. I don't think we can afford to keep him out the team. When we played Fulham, we didn't create anything in front of goal because we didn't have the incisiveness of Dickov upfront pressurising the defence and winning free kicks. We were lacklustre and we conceded possesion far to easily because we didn't have an outlet in Dickov.

Totally agree as I've always said it's the crosses and set pieces which are letting the stikers down.

You may remember me frome such misspellings as Taggerts right foot

I believe we should give Bent and Jamie Scowcroft a go up front...

And what's the shit with Dickov... Does he have it in his contract that he cannot play a full 90 mins... I know he works his nuts off and he must be knackered but why does Micky insist on ALWAYS taking him off... The decision to take him off on Sunday was a fcuking ridiculous...

I thought our strikeforce had enough depth, but now i'm not so sure...

Get Jamie off the wing and give him a go up front... and Bent is the most natural striker we have so why put him on the bench???

He is our best player at the moment :?

He would be way more effective as a sub if Ferdinand becomes match fit him and bent would be 10 times more effective than dickov

Looks like the majority want Dickov in the team. Not surprising really. I and many other fans would be mortified if we dropped Dickov as we would lose that drive and determination.
