Assistant manager Alan Cork has confessed Leicester remain unsure whether defender Nikos Dabizas will play for the club again.

Dabizas, whose contract includes a clause which allows him to leave the Foxes following their relegation from the Premiership, was a member of the Greece squad which won the European Championships in Portugal.

Cork said: "After having been to the European championships with England, we've allowed Ian Walker a little bit of a holiday and he's not due back until July 17.

"Nikos might be back even later than that because at the moment he's obviously part of what's been a very successful Greek squad. We want Nikos back but he's got that clause in his contract which allows him to go.

"We've tried to speak to him a couple of times during the tournament but all we get back is rude text messages about England having gone out to Portugal."

Shame really he never transferred his international form to club level as whenever he played for Greece he looked like a 15million pound centre half.
