the fact of the matter is though - We can barely field a team today (in the true sense of the word)

Stearman, Kisnorbo, McAuley, Mattock (defence unde seige)

no right winger, wesolowski (never dominated a game for Leicester, no pedigree) ngotty (NOT a midfielder) no left winger

we've got NO CREATIVE PLAYERS, OR PACE. it's a f*cking mess, Allen should be ashamed of himself for using 4 odd million of someone elses money and leaving a club like Leicester even WORSE than the mess he found it in.

that said, i can't help but hope we win this afternoon.

i don't particularly rate the guy but at least he is a central midfielder and he would give us some stability. another example of why this club is in a complete mess.

Kishishev strays from the point slightly - he's shite. But arguably we shouldn't be agreeing to loan players to clubs who are then trying to gazump us on cash signings like Bradley Johnson. We help them out through injury crises and they return the favour by trying to pinch players off us without even having returned kish or devries.

the major point is that we are over half way into the season and we are still playing three defenders regularly in midfield alongside a defensive midfielder. We're not a team, we're 11 fit players with no attacking threat.

bring on the set pieces and rely on Saints being sh*t.

Matthew Spring couldn't get in the Watford team when they were in this league,having watched him a few times I can see why..he's not up to this standard of football.He is no better than what we have now IMO

no it isn't. it's about mm and ollie delivering on their promise to the fans to deliver decent football with width, a bit of passing in midfield and a bit of aerial threat and pace up front. for that mm needs to respend the 4 or 5 million he wasted on allen at the start of the season. it's a pity but it's his own fault.
if we have to wait until the end of jan, we'll be bottom. with colchester, qpr, preston etc picking up the same or more points than us at present.

FFS its only the 5 th of jan give them time the window dont close for a while yet plus loan singings after that .

plus the midfield players are not easy to come by at this point of the season but they are working on it

if someone came in for weso or clemence we would have to tell them to clear off because we cant afford to sell them. scouting around smaller clubs is going to be a fruitless exersise as they wont want to sell midfielders because a good one is so hard to come by. we had a massive slice of luck in getting clemence and i would rather have an experienced player that isnt needed by a prem club over an unheard of like josh low or bradley johnson.
