On the train on the way up to Charlton yesterday, Mrs Boc was moaning at me on the phone. Luckily we went into a tunnel just before Sevenoaks and we got cut off. I said (to anybody who happened to be listening), "And a tunnel saves the day!".

The old biddy sitting opposite me looked at me sympathetically and said, "Ah! Was she giving you a hard time?"

I replied, "It's a HE. I'm gay".

The rest of the journey to London Bridge passed in complete silence.
