Singing at the Walkers

The only songs you are gauranteed to hear is the Kisnorbo Song after a tackle and the Huuuuume chant after he as moved 2 metres

WTF is wrong with us all?

The Foxes Trust ran a season long campaign in which we all wrote billions of songs that never get sung. Other teams come here and sing songs and chants that can easily go on for 10 minutes. We should be ashamed really.

Maybe it's because we can't get a concert license, the club encourage us not too sing to avoid abuse of the license.

Any ideas?

Agreed, but any realistic ideas to get us going, the above aint likely to happen.

Are we simply resigned to the fact that the Walkers will always be lifeless and passionless?

The MD at work couldn't understand why the City fans were booing the Hume substitution at Cov (he's a Cov Season Ticket Holder), I had to explain it wasn't a boo but I'd guess most opposition fans don't get it.

Have to admit that the atmosphere has been poor, but the pre match shite does not help, couple that with the last 2 seasons of absolute dross served up and you can sort of understand it.

If we can get a run together and the players can display an all action, high tempo style of play then IMO the crowd will get behind the team, too be honest the crowd's performance has only matched the pretty dull and lifeless performances of those on the pitch.

Also as somebody who goes to a fair few away games, it is pretty much the same at all the grounds.

Get rid of Birchenall for a start,same old dross week in week out.The Club needs a fecking big shake up and getting rid of him would at least be a start.

Not me, I don't to the ground until 2 minutes to kick off, mainly to avoid the dross!

By everyone sitting in a particular area of the Kop, if you want singing, you should go there and the club should advertise it as a singing section. It's what I seen at Huddersfield and it was fairly impressive.

But at the Walkers, if you were to dare to sing in a non singing area, 5 of the the stewards would drag you out of the ground by your hair and hand you over to the authorities

By the way when we went to buy tickets, the woman actually suggested where to sit. She asked whose going, how old are the kids, are you bothered about a decent view, do you want the cheapest tickets and do you want an atmosphere. It also makes stewarding slightly easier if the more lively fans sit in one area and tolerance can be allowed there.
