I don't know if anyone has heard this but i seem to recall hearing somewhere that QPR wanted to make a loan bid for Sir Les and if this is true then why don't we make a bid for him to get him on loan give him one more season at leicester where he did so well last season he's a genuine goalscorer that actually plays upfront which is what we're lacking and we all saw last season what a quality player he is so give him probably one last season and one that he can remember if he wants to come then we'll be almost certainly up next season.

One of the papers said we made several enquiries to get Darren Fletcher from Man Utd on loan and were unsuccessful....but then again what do the papers know?

Bolton said no to it anyway, Allardyce said he's important to their squad.

So even if we did enquire, we wouldn't get him.

Never go back.

No thank you! Must be somebody at Chelski we could borrow.

Good call Steve but I doubt we'll get anyone. How about getting arrrrgh!!

I have thought this one through and one season isn't goin to change any hopes of anything because we're probably not going to get promoted this season and if he gets a chance if he came then CL would be able to decide on that if he should play or not he's been scoring goals at Bolton this season and their doing well in the prem so that proves his ability still even at his age and to be quite honest our teams not moving much at the moment because we have old players like Pressman Dabizas Elliott Nalis Gillespie Tiatto Dublin all of these are outside of the 24-28 age of players CL wants i think they are anyway correct me if I'm wrong yet they're playing week in week out some of them so why shouldn't he come if Bolton would let him.

I read on another post that Muzzy tried to pursuade MA to let him stay on for 2 more years on lower wages but MA wanted to lower his wages even further.
If this is true then it looks like he would have loved to have stayed. Does anyone know if he is really happy at Brum. Would love to see him back here next year if we go up

he loves leicetser but i don't think he loves us that much... didn't he publicly say that playing in the premier would enhance his international chances?

Although Muzz was a big Leicester man I doubt this, he made it clear he wanted Premiership football - and fair enough really a player like that should of been up there! he said right from the start he would stay if we stayed up!

Like so many players, last season. The only reason Muzzy left city is because of ma. and that is from the horses mouth

you seriously think izzet left because of ma? get real izzet left mainly for 3 reasons 1. his contract expired 2. we couldn't afford to keep him 3. premiership clubs showed solid interest and he wanted to play in the premier league

Muzzy was a city man through and through and I quote " The only reason most of us left city was because of ma"

Like the fans the players probably knew that they had the ability to get city straight back up. but they either knew ma was screwing up or simply did not like him or his methods, I dont claim to knew which. either way I am only quoting what was said.

Muzzy has been on a very good salary at city for a very long time and he has done very well out of city, he and others could have negotiated a contract with promotion clause, that increased their salary on return to the premier. One season on a lower rate would have not been a financial hardship to Muzzy or others that left city.
