Would anyone want to see Sir Les Ferdinand back at the Walkers Stadium for a year? A friend of mine is a Reading fan and he reckons Ferdinand wants to play on for one more season and at Leicester.

No. He was bought for his premiership experience. His legs have gone now and his record at Reading in the Championship proved that. Besides potentially we could already have Dion to play this role.

I believe we recruited and lost Les at exactly the right times. In my opinion we had the last effective season he had left in him...
