hi , as this is my first post and i have been living in Sydney Australia for 7 years , being a city fan , i have needed my fix of news and coverage of Leicester from talking balls.( as other football sites don't cover in depth our beloved club)
I feel being so far away, i have watch the ups and downs of LCFC , shared the good times and drank the bad times away.
Regarding LCFC at present , i feel and i could be wrong but under Mon - we achieved so much -greater than any of us expected and when he left - PT did seem a good choice considering his England u21 record.
Unfortunately that was not the case - we all know what happen next - a point that most other supporters of other clubs still think we got away with no matter what facts you give them - still feel that we cheated admin.
After Harry - came Micky Adams - he did get us back and all though the squard on paper was old - we nearly achieved saftey.
La manga - really did piss me off - no matter how you looked at it - it showed that all concerning were happy to get paid and piss it up against a wall instead of saving us from relegation.
I thought Micky Adams would have left then , as in his position i would any way again you guys know the rest .
Now to the winds of change under the new manager CL , i have a good feeling His appointment and if we don't make it this year and it's still possible then we will next year.
As for the ground share - again from what i've heard we need all the facts , but i think it could be good for the following reasons.
1. considering Leicester's poulation - we have our own LCFC, Tigers & cricket teams that do well - not many cities can claim that with our population.
2. if the groundshare goes ahead - the benefits should be that not only does it help LCFC & the Tigers in extra renevue - even though it will be shared- but leads to international exposure from
being used for internationals of both sports Not to mention as a concert venue.
3. Maybe just maybe - there's a multi millionaire that if it happened would gladly buy into LCFC - just i thought.
Lets face it at present - the East Midlands is having a shocking time - football wise , we need LCFC to be back where Mon took us - but as it gets harder to stay we need abacker - this groundshare proposal could make it happen - just a thought
Any way - thanks for to this forum - i at least feel that i'm still Close even though the last time i was in Leciester was for the 1st game against Watford two years ago. ( sweet 2-0 victory)
Regardless of what happens on & off the park - i'm leicester though & though and if that means a groundshare that could help LCFC & the Tigers and profile Leicester to the world
