City's Richard Stearman is in line to skipper England's Under-19s against Belgium at Darlington tonight.

On stand-by for the Under-21s recently, the 18-year-old is set for his first cap at this level and is tipped to move up an age-group by the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Peter Canero has signed a four-month contract with Dundee United. The 24-year-old wing-back was a free agent after being released by City earlier this season.

An England Captain in the making and Canero has found work.

U21s are playing tonight I thought, and it seems weird they're playing at the same time. If it's on the box, I might watch a bit of it at least to see how Stearman does.

Apparently the players have been working on defending set pieces all week to try and fix it. Levein says we've conceded something like 70% of our goals from set pieces!
Sounds like they're only working on defensive ones, and not the attacking ones, which also need work. Makes sense to at least stop conceding them first though, then we can work on scoring from ours!

Glen Johnson is injured and looks like missing tonight's under 21 match in Germany - probably too late now for Stearman to be called up.

Stearman played the whole 90 mins for the U19s, I think at CB. Match report from TheFA.com doesn't mention him at all though. England won 3-2
