World champion Graeme Dott was poor against Maguire, and Fu took Rocket all the way.

ken won 3-0
I saw Ken doherty play John Parrot a few years ago. It was the most boring snooker match I have ever had the misfortune to watch. It was best of 9 and went on for hours. I was so bored after 3 frames me and my mate went onto Birmigham for a drink and something to eat in a bar, came back about an hour later and they had only cleared 2 more frames

I enjoy playing snooker every now and again, but how can it be a spectator event?

Surprised at how the tournament has finished, none of the "big players", Rocket, Hendry, Stevens etc have made it to the final 4. Mark King, Allan McManus and Neil Robertson are all good players, but IMO would not be classed as a big player. And as for Cope, he is really impressed me, I had not seen a lot of him prior to the tournament.

Would not be surprised at all if Robertson soon becomes World Champion.
