Mark Selby lost 5-2 to world champion Sean Murphy in the 1st rd so apart from Jimmy White and Ronnie theres not much to get excited about.
Snooker itself as got big problems. With the loss of tobacco advertising the number of ranking tournaments is now down to six. Both Ronnie and Hendry maybe having a dabble on the American pool circuit. Its all a far cry from the 80's when Higgins, White, Taylor, reardon and company would entertain millions on tv.

but i disagree i think there is some interesting snooker from the likes of Higgins and Davis to come! Anyone can win snooker games this days it makes it all exciting.
