I'm looking at starting a small business on my own just to try to get a little extra pocket money.

Firstly, I have no idea what i'm doing in regards to tax, finances, etc. Obviously I have a full-time job, so I will be doing this part-time, and I am assuming that 100% of my profits will be taxed on.

How is the best way to go about starting the company, and what percentage should I be putting aside for Tax?

Any help would be appreciated. And like I said, This will not be my full-time job, just a way to make a little extra pocket money if possible.

I think with Avon you just get commission don't you?

I think your product range is two narrow (even if you include both Dover and lemon). I suggest you broaden it to encompass plaice and flonders.
