Sonar 2007 Festival

I'm off to Barcelona this summer for the Sonar festival. Anyone else going or been before? Gonna spend a week in Barca to check the place out, never been before. What places must I check out? Also, this may be a stupid question, do they speak Spanish there or is it all catalan? I speak a bit of spanish but don't want to learn more if it's going to be useless. Cheers.

I've been to Benicassim - that's awesome. Don't camp though - its too hot in the morning. Get a (shit on the) villa or something.

Barcelona is an incredible city - you'll be ok with Spanish - catalan is spoken though mainly.

Go to the Sagrada Família church which is nearing completion - its a monster!

Started in the 1880s - but not due to be finished until about 2026. It's taking even longer than New Wembley!!

Joe is right though - well worth a vist - but expect long queues.

Don't forget to take a marker pen, so you can add LCFC to the hurrendous amount of graffiti on the staircases. Don't forget to take it to the Nou Camp as well becuase its just as bad there!! :icon_lol:

cheers lads, I did Madrid last year which is a great city, The Bernabeau is emense. Can't wait for june.
