Am I the only one getting really annoyed with MM being classed as trigger happy? Yes, we had a lot of managers at the beginning, but we had Pearson for two years, and only changed when he left, not because he was fired.

Huw Jenkins only had Sousa for 12 months and he (Sousa) left under similar circumstances, but he isn't classed as trigger happy.

Move on people

(Unless of course Sousa is fired after 4 games)

I think he got the reputation at Portsmouth. Aside from Redknapp i think they had more or less a new manager every year.

I think he got a reptuation here...4 managers at the start where he either sacked or didn't extend a contract.

Jenkins is a poor comparison. He's had two managers who've both left the club to other jobs.

My point is I don't see how he is now?

He reinforced it here..

He will get the name trigger happy for the amount of managers us and pompey have had in the past. At the end of the day he does it for the intrest of the club.

The club is a business, he employs people to a job, ie , manage a football club, that's a lot of responsibility, and its well paid, but your paid to succeed fail and your out. seems a simple base line to me, not trigger happy, just an honest way to do business.

Kelly: fired. Not a Milan appointment and clearly wasn't up to the job as everyone acknowledged at the time. Hasn't gone back into management since.

Worthington: contract not renewed. Not many were in disagreement. He did his short term job but wasn't the man to take us forward.

Allen: fired. Seemed a crazy decision at the time but with hindsight looks like a brave and sensible one. Bad idea to appoint him in the first place though.

Megson: walked away. The man is just a tosser.

Holloway: fired. Had to go for the worst performance of any Leicester side ever.

Pearson: walked away.

The appointment of Allen was a mistake which he rectified quickly. Holloway had a complete mare which wasn't down to Milan who backed him with substantial funds.

I'm not Milan's biggest fan but I don't think he can be blamed for much of this.

if we are taken over and substantial funds made available its risky trusting a manager with little experience, for me NP spent what was available wisely and would have been my choice to spend large amounts. However all these changes seem to have taken place with Sousa in mind, someone somewhere has the utmost confidence , lets hope he delivers
