Will a bookies allow me to place say 5 bets of similar selections?

Out of interest, If I had made these bets last night:

Hartlepool to beat Macclesfield
Rochdale to beat Torquay

...I would have won on bets 1 and 2 (I think, not checked) but lost on 3,4 and 5 BUT with 25p on each I would have surely won more than £1.25 wouldn't I?

I seem to remember from working in a bookies that they don't allow this sort of thing - am I right? I'm looking for answers from highlander - he seems to know his stuff.

You can do that theres nothing wrong with them.What you can't do is a bet where the result of one effects the outcome of another in a multiple bet

You can do that theres nothing wrong with them.What you can't do is a bet where the result of one effects the outcome of another in a multiple bet

Except in the form of a Scorecast (First scorer/correct result) where special combined odds are quoted - these are not the same as the multiplied odds for the two events.
