If memory serves me correctly, our stadium was built on the cheap, (£1000 per 1000 seats compared to new White Hart Lane at £16000 per 1000 seats), so only the East Stand was built strong enough to be extended.

That is also why they could not hold rock concerts etc. because they skimped on the reinforced concrete and foundations!

Oops factor of a 1000 out there! Anyway Spurs stadium is 16 times as expensive as ours for equivalent number of seats.

I really hope that the silence on this since the death of Vichai isn't because plans have been shelved. Rodgers did make reference to the training ground but not the stadium.
