I picked my parents up from East Midlands airport yesterday, Steve walsh game out of arrivals while i was waiting.

It could be coincidence, but its the first time since wembley i'v seen him in a suit, and i'v seen him around leicester a good few times.

He's back for the game tomorrow, but then again Big Matty is going to be there tomorrow too........

has he been mentioned around the club at all?

Walshie did say in a recent interview that he applies for the managers job here every time it becomes vacant...

He'll apply I reckon and would be a great shout with someone beside him showing him the ropes.... Long live Steve Walsh...

Indeed, get him in in some role because he will get the players going and more importantly, the crowd! :038: :038: :038:

All these ex city greats get mentioned and none of them have any managerial record. Its not what we need at this stage of the season.

well having a manager with experience hasnt seemed to do us too many favours. im all for a new approach.

Bring on Lennie the Lion for me, I am not bothered who it is if we start on winning ways again.....

I remember last season, we were all laughing at the fo***t fans for being stuck in a time warp and living in the past whilst they were staring relegation in the face.

Amazing the depths you drop to in times of desperation, isn't it ? :icon_roll

Leicesters two most successful managers in the last 15 years (MON and BL ) have done it the right way by gaining experience from lower league clubs. The only thing that Walshy, Lennon , and the others have is the affection of the fans, and how long would that last once the team lost a couple of games. I wouldn't like to hear the 'Walshy out' chants from our fickle fans espeically after the great career he's had with us. I wouldn't object to seeing him back here but only has an assistant to begin with.

I agree. It would be great to start with but I'd be so gutted to see Walshie/Lennie hounded out by the fans asthey no doubt would be after a few bad results. If Walshie really wants to be our manager then he should apply for some other jobs first instead of selling real estate in Spain. I'd be happier if either took up a coaching role.
