Just looked at the Saints squads for FA Cup ties and he is definitely not cup-tied, like you say, it probably comes down as to whether they will let him play for us or not

McCarthy was solid for us against Burnley,won his headers,didn't let anyone get behind him,has a bit of pace as well....

AND more importantly, Dabizas wasn't his usual panicky self(like he is alongside Heath)looked a lot more comfortable alongside Paddy.
