Only team in the top 7 not to have anyone recognised in the Championship team of the year. I thought Hobbs should be in there and Weale too.

Lee Camp (Forest), Chris Gunter (Forest), Fabricio Coloccini (Newcastle), Ashley Williams (Swansea), Jose Enrique (Newcastle), Graham Dorrans (West Brom), Peter Whittingham (Cardiff), Kevin Nolan (Newcastle), Charlie Adam (Blackpool), Andy Carroll (Newcastle), Michael Chopra (Cardiff)

Personally (I may be in the minority) I agree with that. Out of our team it would probably be Hobbs that would be selected, but you can't really argue with players from two of the best defences in the league being chosen. Perhaps Weale too, but after his brief poor spell the media seemed to enjoy that too much for him to be in

A playoff place without any of the league's best players. Does this mean Nigel is the world's best manager?

Not a lot wrong with it...personally I'd have Maynard and Hooper up front but their teams didn't have great seasons. Wouldn't have Gunter or Coco the Clown...Williams I agree with.

Look at it as a shopping list for the premier sharks, none of our players there could be a good thing.

Mind you it could be seen as NPs doing a fantastic job with mediocre players, so some premier sharks will come for him.

Oh feck it, we're all doomed I tell you..........

I'm surprised roast beef made it in ahead of pickled onion but hey-ho.

Chopra ?

I thought he had a quiet season by his standards.

It's voted for in about Jan/Feb for some ridiculous reason. Chopra has been quiet second half of the season, but had a really good first half.

I remember the good old days when we would be wondering whether salt & vinegar would get in ahead of ready salted

Times change, move on. Before you know it Curley Wurley will be in infront of Double Decker and your whole outlook on life will have to change.

At the risk of joining the window lickers, had some Jalapeno Real Crisps the other day. Very agreeable accompanyment to my good lady's cheese and coleslaw sandwiches.
Right back to business......someone ask Joey when DJ is coming back with my marbles. Oh of course...... Sunday.

To be honest, I quite agree with this team they have selected.

I don't think we have (or don't appear to have) any star performers, we have just been a good, solid team all season.

I do believe however that if there was some stronger analysis at our players in particular Richie Wellens would be in there.

I'd have thought Jack Hobbs would have crept in ahead of Ashley Williams, but never mind.
