Melton Fox

Dancing Queen
I think it might be starting to return.

For some reason I am starting to look forward to the transfer window with a little bit of interest, something I didn't think was possible last week. I think it's more to do with the possibility of shed loads of players that "might" be leaving as opposed to the new ones being brought in.

I'm beginning to think these players have became "infected" to the extent that a cure might not be possible. I also think that these players may be infecting those that come to the club that are "disease free", ie Clemence, John, Horsfield etc etc.

Maybe that's what we need, a complete overhaul. Forget "time to gel" and all that bollocks, just get rid and start again.

As I've said previously, I don't think our players are "that" bad, and I know they can all play much better than they are doing, but maybe they just don't want to, maybe they have lost all motivation and the best Managers in the world couldn't get them motivated.

Who knows?, But ship 10 out, and bring 5 quality proven players in with the intention of them going straight in to the first team, and I think it might just about work if Ollie knows what he's doing with them.

So Ollie, I still have my doubts, simply because I have seen no evidence, but please prove to me next month that you are the man to take us forward and that these players are simply beyond help, please, please, please, I'm desperate!!!!

What 'til you see all the feckin' threads about who we might/have/could actually sign, you won't be so interested then

I agree with IH's intentions. Some of those players (!) should never put a City shirt on again.
Get them away from the club. If wages are a problem, it's time for MM to come forward and show his intentions.

Well I'm glad the "Buzz" is back again for you Melts, almost envious in fact, you obviously have access to much better quality drugs than most of us. For me the "Buzz" will be back after we beat Wolves. Right now I'm thinking 'how many will they score against us'?

Trying to be as optimistic as possible I can only predict a two goal deficit in their favour. I hope Holloway can get them playing the way we know they can. But I'm not overly confident. :icon_conf

PS Sorry if I peed on anybody's chips.

Has anything changed over the last 12 months :102:

not that i can see up to now ,im hoping that when the transfer window opens that this time we use it well then maybe the Buzz will come back ,its going to take time IMO

next season should be 100% better i hope as long we hold onto the manager that is

No I'm not, that's why I just said that I wish I could be :102:

It has taken 4 years of constant disappointment and let downs to dampen my enthusiam for this club, one win will not see that return.

I fully understand. I last went to Filbert St in 1966 as a young lad, and there really hasn't been much to cheer about, apart from Martin O'Neill's reign.

Not been around as long as you OZ :icon_wink, but when you look back the last real downer IMO was the end of Pleats era, Little came in and started the ten years of relative success until T*ylor came in and started the slippery slope down to where we are now.
I know Little did not set the world alight, but I remember being very proud to be a city fan, even with the 'household names in the team'^.

Unfortunatly that is not a feeling I have felt for a long time. :icon_sad:

That's good news, you've worried me this week, pre-Christmas stress I reckon :icon_wink

Get this crappy year over and start again.

That bastard Fulop appears to have stolen my buzz and taken it with him :icon_cry:
