Has anyone seen this series? it was set at Lancaster Boys school in Leicester. Where Gareth Malone led to the Albert Hall.

The song they in the end was Stand By Me with Beautiful Girls mixed in and it was awesome.

The kids attitude remind me of the school i work in.

Puffs programme.

Nancy Boys singng, they should be out playing football. They will be carrying handbags next:icon_roll
They're only in the choir because the Vicar has lovely smooth fingers and lets them do things to each other that they aren't allowed to until they're sixteen.

I've been watching because my daughter knows some of the lads at the school and so she's been pointing them out and having a laugh.

I missed last night's (was it the final one?) unfortunately. I thought it's been good.

I've just watched last night's on the net. It had Leicestershire schools senior strings accompanying them at the Albert Hall and also the John Cleveland Orchestra where there so even more kids my daughters know.

It was an excellent series, certainly better than the majority of shite we have to endure on the telly during the week. It was a programme which worked because it highlighted the kids correctly, there wasn't a flood of tear stories and it allowed their personalities to come through. The main thing was that all of the kids what performed achieved something which can not be touched.

The main teacher was bit of a woofder though....

considering 'it want cool' to start with i think they did well.

That 1st guy, his Chinese family own a chippy - it showed it on the programme, im sure MHS would have regonised it.

Malone had already given people chances before and that chap stepped up when asked who wanted to do a solo at the Albert Hall, however in the week before it apparently he was ill with a sore throat.

the school i work at played Lancaster in the Leicester county cup basketball final. We lost! I reconised some of the lads that were in the programme who were playing.

If you watched the programme you might remember Imran, he was one of star players for Lancaster Boys

Its a puff's programme Scarby end of.

Good point, and IMO very politely worded.

Singing in a girly Choir is for puffs we all know that. There is something wrong with a boy who wants to sing and not go out and get drunk,he is more than likely a homosexual

Vicar's spunk, keeps the vocal chords young.
