Tbh I think he was more of a danger to people than she was.

I know it was based on a true story etc but was that him or an actor playing him,excuse my dimness.He had the most terrifying laugh:icon_conf

from what i read it was a docudrama so id guess it was others playing the main characters??? ive not seen it but i did record it

I thought it was and the bit at the beginning I think mentioned that only the woman was played by an actor.I did wonder if he was a qualified Pyschologist because I've met a few and even though they have been a bit odd they didn't compete with him on the 'Fruitcake' scale.

It was a true story of a young woman who was a doctor and was hearing a voice in her head that said she should kill herself.She was being treated by a Pyschologist who said that she shouldn't take her medication and that the voice was in some ways a good thing,he was more frightening than the girl.He also encouraged her to lie to her bosses in order to get her job back (she was suspended when she told them she was hearing voices) because whilst she was still telling them she was hearing the voice they wouldn't let her do her job although she was capable of carrying out her job

Sounds a bit heavy going for me - I don't like to have to use my brain when watching tele.

I watched it because of someone I know who hears voices.It wasn't as heavy going as I thought tbh but it as hardly full of belly laughs either..not deliberate ones anyway

If you can identify with the subject, then it's always worth a watch IMO as it throws a whole new slant on it that many won't appreciate.

Interestingly, I take the exact opposite view when looking for something to watch.
It doesn't leave me with many options.
