As much as I think Eriksen would've been a good signing, he's not a priority if Tielemans stays and we have Maddison.

Very good player, but Man Utd would always beat us to him - I also think a 3yr contract is pretty long for a player who nobody was sure about taking the health risk on 6 months ago. Maybe they have clauses in, but feels like that's probably also more than other clubs would've been willing to offer.

I don't really see how we'd play Eriksen and Maddison in the same side, it all has echoes of Everton a couple of years ago when they bought several No.10s when they needed a 9 (while in that parlance, we currently need a 7), and look where they are now! Wouldn't have been sensible for any reason other than profile raising for the club, something Man Utd are more than capable of doing too

Man U are more than capable of paying his wages if he plays or not and he can even sit in the reserves for his entire contract and it wouldn't make any difference to their finances, Leicester on the other hand couldn't afford to pay someone £100k a week to never play.

Man U probably guaranteed his contract regardless and that's something we could never do so it's a no brainer from Erikson to sign for Man U.

I can't agree with you on Lookman. He's been a steady signing on loan. His stats are pretty decent, though I hope we don't sign him permanently.

Maybe if we stopped playing Perez out wide it'd help. He's been a perfectly good squad player for us when he's played centrally. I'd prefer him up front to Daka any single day of the year from what we have seen thus far.
