Had been touted for West Ham but now looking like Palace as Chelsea accepting they won't get his wages covered.

Getting Barnes back was sensible. Tielemans is much more likely to get game time than the three central midfielders that have gone. It made no real sense to spend any money and we've not done so.

We left Elder, Benaloune and King high and dry after the summer - too old to be with the kids really but no place in our 25 man squad. All have got moves.

A couple of young defenders should get some senior football (Knight and Johnson). Iborra and Silva were wasting our time and theirs here so they may as well have got out.

And then we even got shot of Diabate as well.

I liked Moussa, I expected him to do better

He now nearly 30, without a club and has played in 2 games since the end of the 16-17 season. If I saw him on the street I’d boo him now.

He’s gone to Palace hasn’t he.
He is extremely quick, Batshuayi. I’m a little surprised that we don’t want him as a potential backup or longer term replacement for Vardy. But, as has been stated, that’s not our style.
