anyone else hear the new single this morning on radio 1? I deff think it is a grower, not got the impact of Mr Brightside and as a few mentioned on the radio has got hints of Meatloaf. But still sounds pretty good, album out at the start of october, looking forward to it.

I liked all of them. Infact, their album is played an awful lot at home.

I think they may well struggle to keep their popularity going.I thought their first album was fine forthe first 5-6 tracks and then they seem to run out of ideas..

I agree. It is a very good album but IMO most of the songs sound similar. The first 5 songs are excellent though.

but how many albums can you think of which that applies too?

It was just with it being the first 5 songs and it tailing off,a lot of albums have 4 or 5 fillers on but they tend to be spread out.Theres sounded as if they'd done their best 5 songs and thought WTF shall we do now .Perhaps its just me:icon_roll

Mr Brightside, Smile Like you mean it, On Top, Jenny Was a friends of mine all good songs. even liked the fillers. especially indie rock n roll

Think its funny that people are moaning that it only has 5 good songs on when some albums only have 2/3 :icon_roll
