The Kooks

Will be playing at the Bank Farm pub, a mile away from Chapel St. Leonards on the East Coast on Thursday night. The pub is only small, but they are expecting 2,000 or so people there. Apparently The Kooks used to play here regularly before they made their big break, and the pub has been losing business there, so The Kooks are hoping to raise them a lot of cash. I'll be there for this, seeing as my place is a 10 min walk away. :icon_bigg

What an excellent night!

Free beer, free entrance.......well I was a security guard! There were 1,500 people there and they were short of guards, so me and my old man did it. He was guarding their dressing room door as I was on "crowd control". Best night I've had in a long while - The Kooks were superb on stage, as were their support act, The 747's.

Top night, and all for free!
