Some comments by Barber re: the MM interview, from foxfanzine.com:

Hi All,

Just to let you know I've just done an interview with Milan. We'll be playing it tonight on the Football Forum. It will go out sometime between 6-7.

It's one of those interviews that you have to read between the lines. He's still refusing to talk about Leicester directly, until after tongihts game, but I still think it's worth a listen.

Cheers.

and

Rushing around at the minute ... have a listen. He's quite cagey, but says he will talk more after tonights game.

He's not going to say a massive amount until he's formally left Portsmouth, but you get the feeling that he'll certainly be trying to buy one club ... he just won't say which one !!!

Are you thinking of ringing in? :102: :102:
No, I'm tempted but I don't think I'll be able to remain to calm and constructive in that environment. Especially hearing the plonkers at RL saying "Oh well, Melton, they are doing the best they can with the funds that are made available" followed up by Birch saying "I'm not sure Melton, it looked alright on Saturday when I was out at half time with my neices and I hurt my dewberry's when I stepped over the advertising billboards"

TBH Steven, I would love to, but it really is a waste of time. All it is is a moan in. Nothing is constructive, nothing is ever put into place because of it and most opinions are dismissed. It's a mouthpiece for the club, presented by the mouthpieces of the club.

I would rather sit down in a calm and private meeting to discuss my opinions and feelings with the club, not hope Birch relays his version of events when his hangover has cleared up the next morning

New goalkeeper, Josh Low - that's a bloody good start!

Birch feels sorry for Rob Kelly

The players were poorly on Saturday

Offical - The reason we don't have gigs is poor acoustics combined with poor exits

IMO - we need new management both on the pitch, and off the pitch if we are going to go anywhere but nowhere. It's as simple as that really..

Sort the ****ing stadium out.. and get Bon Jovi to do a few sell out shows here.. £250,000 back in your pocket before you can say 'was it worth it?'

Somebody wanted Kelly out and Birch was disgusted and refused to discuss it. He accused the writer of being a poor City fan.

Typical club ignorance

Hard work in itself is not enough. :icon_roll

it is annoying when I hear him say "I see us down there and I know we're not in the right position". Finish the sentence off for him there. We belong there, because we are only the 19th best team in the divison, to be honest - at the moment, I think some of the clubs below us have shown better of themselves.

If Kelly is the hardest working manager we have had in the last 20 yrs, then that means he is the most ineffective over the last 20 years as well

This is pissing me off, Birch is just arguing and defending the club instead of listening to guests

I see the problem now, the players were poorly, we had three games in a week, we have too many young players, we should be grateful for that, Rob is a great guy, the board can do no wrong.... AHHHHH!

What was the conclusion and point of Nicks 10 minute call?

FA

Not leaving much time to discuss the MM story.
