SWMBO used to work at the residential school that Derek attended. She too was fascinated by last night's programme. It's good to see that his talent has continued to develop but a little worrying when he seems to be used as some kind of peep-show.

I thought it was a great programme. Seemed to struggle a little with the 'emotional' side of music but had the technical aspect down to a tea. Amazing how he could play that piano score note for note after only having heard it the once.
